Kilowog is a member of the Green Lantern Corps from the planet Bolovax Vik. He is the Green Lantern of sector 0674, standing at 8ft and weighing 720lbs. He is the intimidating drill sergeant that trains the new cadets for the Green Lantern Corps. Representing a long lineage of warriors from his planet, he is now the last of his race.

Green Lantern[]
Kilowog trained Hal Jordan in fighting using willpower and the power ring and introducing him to gravitational pulls. Eventually, Sinestro took over the training.
After Hal defeated Parallax by luring him towards a sun, he was unable to escape the sun's gravity and began to fall to his death. Kilowog, along with Tomar-Re and Sinestro, arrived in time to save Hal.

Trivia[]
- Kilowog derisively states that humans "think they're the center of the universe." The Green Lantern comic 'Blackest Night' revealed that Earth was in fact the birthplace of life throughout the whole universe, thus it was metaphorically the "center."
- Michael Clarke Duncan's fourth time voice acting in a live-action film after the Cats & Dogs films (as Sam the Sheepdog) and Racing Stripes (as Clydesdale) this was also his last before his death in 2012.
