Biography[]

Justice League Dark[]

He attended a Justice League meeting at the Hall of Justice. Superman and Wonder Woman presented a series of crimes caused by law-abiding citizens all around the world experiencing nightmare visions. Stewart asked if the cause was known yet. Superman admitted they had no idea yet. Stewart fretted something had to happen the week he filled in and wished it was a hairy monster instead. Wonder Woman suggested a paranormal element but Batman ruled it out stating the criminally insane didn't need magic as an excuse. He recommended they spend more time on the streets instead of flying over them then left the meeting. Stewart noted Batman was even friendlier than they say.

Green Lantern arrived first in Washington D.C. and battled the rematerialized Destiny. He created a pincer construct and grabbed the force shield around Destiny then threw it into a building. Destiny fired bursts of energy from his chest and breached Lantern's shield, sending him flying into a billboard. Lantern was affected by Destiny's magic and was driven mad. Batman tried to talk him down but Lantern saw a Bat monster instead. Batman threw a Batarang in vain then Lantern formed a construct of medieval weapons. Eventually, Lantern punched Batman and they traded shots. Lantern leaped away and realized he was in his USMC jacket civies. Batman stripped his power ring off on the sly. He tasered Lantern. Wonder Woman charged him but Zatanna came to his aid and incanted the Lasso of Truth around her.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War[]

On planet Mogo, Darkseid has invaded the planet and killed most of the Green Lanterns, including the Guardians of the Universe. John was mortally wounded and lied on the ground as Darkseid was killing the last of the Green Lanterns. John crawls to a nearby lantern charger and says the Green Lantern oath and begins charging his ring to gain more power, but Darkseid blows up the charger, killing John and turning him into a burnt skeleton. His skeleton then disintegrates , leaving only his ring on the ground.
