J'onn J'onzz is a Green Martian. After arriving on Earth, J'onn adopted the alias of John Jones and became the superhero known as Martian Manhunter.

Biography

Justice League: The New Frontier

Accidentally teleported from Mars by a scientist in an attempt to send a communication signal to Mars. He used his shape shifting ability to take the form of the same scientist who transported him to Earth in order to blend in. He adjusted to Earth life by watching shows on television for long periods of time. After watching an old movie, he was inspired to become a private detective. Keeps an ongoing investigation of the rise of "The Centre" until he found out about the Mars mission where he would attempt to return to Mars, and turned over his research to Batman. During his attempt to join the Mars mission, he is confronted by Government Agent Faraday and forced to rescue Faraday instead of leaving him to die from the Rocket's thruster burn. Later he became friends with the Agent and both joined the fight against the Centre, unfortunately resulting in the Agent's death.
