Dr. Thomas Wayne was the father of Bruce Wayne, in an alternative timeline, Wayne becomes Batman.

Biography[]

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox[]

Thomas Wayne lost his wife and his son on the night that Joe Chill shot Bruce dead, Martha's grief drove her insane and she became the Joker. Thomas beat Chill to a pulp.

Later, Batman chased Yo-Yo across the rooftops trying to find out where the Joker had taken Judge Dent. Yo-Yo refused to give any information up and told him that Dent was more than likely dead already. Batman threw Yo-Yo from the rooftop to her death but she was saved by Cyborg who tried to convince Batman that they needed his help.

Barry Allen drove to Wayne Manor searching for Batman who he believed to be Bruce Wayne but instead found Thomas Wayne dressed as Batman who proceeded to fight Barry for intruding. Barry quickly surmised that in this reality Bruce was the one who was shot and killed instead of his parents. Barry was able to persuade Thomas to help him. They tried to recreate the accident that gave Barry super powers but when the lightning struck Barry set on fire. Batman put the fire out with his cape and pulled Barry to safety but he was badly burnt.

When Barry finally awoke, Batman tried to convince him to stay hooked up to pain relief but Barry persuaded him to try again. This time it worked and Barry's superspeed abilities were restored, healing him of his third degree burns. He couldn't travel fast enough to break the time barrier meaning another speedster, Professor Zoom, was using the energy and preventing him from doing so. Barry and Batman then sought to locate Superman as he would be capable of doing what Barry couldn't.

Batman agrees to help Cyborg and join his team if he helped them locate Superman. Flash, Batman and Cyborg freed Superman from captivity but after realising the raw power he had unleashed Superman flew away, Barry had a seizure as his memories continued to align with the new reality.

He and Grifter get attacked by Black Manta and they kill him. When he was talking with Grifter, he was shot by the Atlanteans. He was revealed to be alive, but he was dying. He saved Barry Allen from Zoom. The dying Tom gave Barry a cloth to heal his leg that was wounded by Zoom and told him to revert the timeline to normal.

Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay[]

Thomas Wayne, as the Flashpoint counterpart of Batman, was seen in a flashback, where he shot Zoom in the head while Zoom explains to Task Force X how he survived being shot in the head.
