James Gordon was a police officer, who worked in Gotham City and later became commissioner of GCPD.

Biography

Beware the Batman: Reckoning

When Ra's al Ghul took over the control of Gotham City energy power, James Gordon and his daughter Barbara moved to GCPD building for safety. When James Gordon tried to call Batman, instead of him, Katana appeared and explained to Gordon what the situation was. He didn't know how to destroy the Ion Cortex, which was controlling the energy power of Gotham City or who could help him to destroy it. His daughter Barbara tried to ask him to help with the problem, but her father didn't allow her to do it because he didn't want put his daughter in danger. But Barbara didn't listen to him and she tried to escape from GCPD and steal some equipment to destroy Ion Cortex, but her father caught her. Barbara forced her dad to help her because it's their city and they should protect it together. James Gordon has to agree with her, when they were attacked by The Ghosts. They couldn't hold themselves for long, but Batman had appeared and helped them to get rid of Ghosts. Later, they go very close to the base of Ra's al Ghul and try to hack in The Ion Cortex and destroy it, but they were interrupted by League of Assassins ninjas and their satellite was destroyed. So to manage to destroy Ion Cortex, James Gordon and Barbara managed to go inside the base of Ra's al Ghul, and Barbara hacked in the main computer, which was controlling Ion Cortex, while James Gordon was holding over ninjas.
