Green Lantern: Emerald Knights[]
Long ago when the Guardians first formed the Green Lantern Corp, they held a meeting with the best warriors in the galaxy four of them would be given rings, Avra a scribe for the Guardian was keeping the records of the three rings being given, when the fourth ring was given out, it appeared to be selected another strong warrior, however Avra was chosen believed to be a simple mistake, Avra was sent on a mission to stop a plague, with the corp nervous as it was his first battle questioning the power of the ring, When the warriors became overwhelmed with the intensity as well as the death of a member, two of the survivors decided they should retreat then risk death, Avra realized the rings were forged by will and if they wanna survive they must use their willpower, the others skeptical questioned Avra as he was only a scribe, Avra believed in the guardians decision and went to battle holding his first construct becoming the first green lantern defeating the army with the other lanterns after realizing he was correct, Avra was remembered as a powerful warrior and the first lantern, after his passing his ring was handed out to the next bearer, two of whom were Abin Sur and Hal Jordan.
